April 9, 2019

My father, Richard Bloomer passed to be with God tonight. He was a loved father and grandfather. He was surrounded by his family including his children and siblings. The priest told us God gave him this gift to say goodbye to love ones. His suffering is over. He was my rock and friend these past few years and my entire life. I am so grateful for the relationship we had. He was so much more than my father. I was blessed to have you in my life. Until I see you again, Daddy!! Love u ðŸ˜˜ðŸ˜˜

So sad to hear of our 1959 classmates’ passing.  Such great memories of Dickie from all of our years together from kindergarten to graduation from high school.  My first grade “boyfriend” when all of our classes’ girls vied for his attention to the treasured friendship in our later school years.  Loved the Bloomer family and our hearts are with them this July when they celebrate the life of a great classmate and gentle friend.
