Campaign For Kids

Rox Alumni - Campaign For Kids

The Rockville Alumni Foundation’s annual Campaign for Kids initiative raises funds for Rockville kids in need.  At the beginning of each new school year the funds raised through the campaign are distributed to the Rockville Elementary School.    The administrative staff at the school have established a separate school fund for the funds we raise and applies the funds during the school year for needed supplies such as back packs, shoes, glasses, school supplies, field trips, and special needs of kids without the means to provide for themselves.  This campaign was launched and lead by Bill Hill '66 during the annual all class reunion in 2009.  In this inaugural year, alumni donated shoes, back packs, and school supplies to the schools and additionally raised $1,300 to present to the schools.  Scroll down this page for some pictures of the items donated.  Alumni and Rox supporters have made this campaign a glowing and growing success for the kids.  Annually, the campaign has raised:

2023  -   $ 938.85

2022  -  $1,016.03

 2020  -  $  969.47
