Larry Dean Morgan, 71, of Rockville, Indiana passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Clinton Gardens. He was born November 1, 1952, in Rockville, Indiana to the late James Lee Morgan and Minnie May McMillian Morgan. He was a carpenter.

 He is survived by one son, Ricky Dean Morgan of Montezuma, two grandchildren, Alan and Maykala Morgan of Montezuma, best friend, Jerry (Cathra Begley) Rector of Bloomingdale, nephews Dave Morgan of Blanford, Terry Morgan of Georgia and Brian Morgan of Montezuma and nieces, Lisa (Todd) Gentry of North Carolina and Anita (Bob) Kelley of Washington; sister-in-law, Pam Morgan and cousins, Amanda, Candice and Monica Morgan. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Dick, Max, Donnie, and Bob Morgan; infant sister, Delores Morgan. 

 He was a graduate of Rockville High School. He loved fishing and mushroom hunting. 

 Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, July 18, at the West Union Cemetery with Paster Gene Walls officiating. Burial will follow. 

Arrangements entrusted to the care of Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville.

Mary Jane Allbright (Evens) (1970)

Larry and I took drivers training together with Mr Savio.  I don't know who scared Mr Savio more, Larry or me!  Those are fun memories.  I haven't seen him for many years but always classmates!

Mike Gerrish (1970)

I remember how fast he ran in elementary school and wondered why he didn't run track in high school.
