Jennifer L. Alexander, 49, of Bloomingdale, passed away January 20, 2026, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born on February 12, 1976, in Clinton, Indiana, she was the daughter of Cathy Loy Cunningham and the late Greg Schornick.

Jennifer graduated from Rockville High School in 1994. She previously worked at BJ’s Electronics in Rockville for 13 years. Jennifer loved her grandkids and family. She enjoyed spending her time coloring, drawing, and fishing.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Derek Alexander; 3 children: Ashley Whitcomb (Billy), Corey Alexander, and Dakota Alexander; 4 grandchildren: Keegan, Reece, River, and Chrissa; and her mother, Cathy Cunningham.

She is preceded in death by her dad, Greg Schornick, and grandparents, Bill and Doris Loy.

Cremation has been chosen. Care entrusted to Barnes and Rice Funeral Home of Rockville.
