I am so grateful to have grown up in Rockville. So many wonderful memories of our community and school. I was so fortunate to have had such a great life surrounded by extraordinary people. As I look back on my life, I wish that all of the people who touched my life could know how much they are remembered and how much knowing them enriched my life.
From kindergarten through high school, we had wonderful teachers and a community that nurtured us and gave us the foundation we needed for the future. The rest was up to us. I count myself blessed with this beginning. Marrying my Charlie in 1961 was a continuation of my blessed life, and I thank God that we found each other and were married for 60 years until his passing in 2021. So many extraordinary events happen in our lives, but the ones I cherish most center around family and the people who touch our lives in simple everyday living: our beginnings, our various educational experiences, our children & grands, our communities, and the myriad experiences that interweave throughout our lives.2(
