David Leslie Stalker, 61, of Princeton, Indiana, and formerly of Rockville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the Waters of Princeton. He was born on September 8, 1962, in Clinton, Indiana, to the late Leslie Ray Stalker and Opal Edwards Brown Stalker.

David is survived by his brother, Royce (Laura) Brown of Vail, Arizona; and two sisters, Sue McMullen and Shirley (Larry) Kunes of Terre Haute. He was preceded in death by his brother, Coy Brown, sister-in-law Pat Brown, and brother-in-law Bob Arnett.

A proud graduate of Rockville High School, class of 1982, David was an active participant in track, cross country, and wrestling. He held a deep affection for Parke County, particularly Billie Creek Village, Bridgeton, and the Covered Bridges.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, at Gooch Funeral Home, located at 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville, with Pastor Steve Blaydes officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Terre Haute. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday at Gooch Funeral Home.
