Edward Crowder Jr, passed away September 8, 2026. He was born April 5, 1956 in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Edward was the son of Edward Crowder Sr.and Gladys L. McClain-Crowder. He is survived by his wife Dai Sautos Crowder in the Philippines; one son, Edward Crowder III; one sister, Janet L. VanderStar; two brothers, Jerry L Crowder and John Crowder. No services planned at this time. Cremation was chosen in the Philippines.
Ed was a great basketball player and friend! He was always friendly and fun to be around. He moved to Danville, Illinois about our junior year and he was a huge asset to their basketball team. I remember he brought some of the guys to Rockville a few times and we thought they were all so good looking! Funny. I had messaged Ed a few times over the years, especially when we had an upcoming class reunion, and he was always happy with his life, proud of his son, and loved his wife in the Phillipines. RIP, Ed.
