In Memory

Gloria Eup (Walters) - Class Of 1969

Gloria Eup (Walters)

Gloria J. Walters, 74, of Montezuma, Indiana passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Friday, January 9th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after a brief fight with cancer.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Anthony R. Walters, daughter, Belinda (Cody) Anderson of Clinton, Indiana and son James, grandsons, Logan Walters, Ki Walters, granddaughters, Aurora Walters, Tennison Anderson, sister Lisa (Jeff) Kroge of Kearny, Missouri, daughter in law Dawn Walters and several nieces and nephews. Gloria was preceded in death by her son Joshua Walters, parents Bill and Marta Eup, brother Michael Eup.

Gloria graduated from Rockville Highschool in 1969 and Indiana State in 1976. She enjoyed monthly lunches with her former Rox classmates up until she became ill. Gloria was also a licensed scuba diver and was a referee for volleyball and basketball. Gloria worked at C.A.R.S in Rockville for several years where she enjoyed helping local families.

Gloria loved to work outdoors mowing and tending to her flower beds. If she saw a neighbor out mowing one day she would be mowing the next day. She would not let anyone help her because she wanted perfect lines in her yard. When she wasn’t mowing you could catch her sitting on her porch swing or back patio just enjoying being outside. Anthony and Gloria took several anniversary trips to Las Vegas; those anniversary trips turned into week long cruises in the Caribbean.

Gloria was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be missed greatly by all that loved her.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17th, 2026, at Brown-Mack Funeral home in Montezuma, Indiana from 12pm until 2pm with a short service to follow.
