Edward Ray Cloyd, 82, of Rockville, Indiana, passed away Monday, April 13, 2026, at Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute.

He was born September 13, 1943, in Clinton, Indiana, to the late James Cloyd and Virginia Martin Cloyd. He was a retired tool and die maker.

His wife of 63 years, Vicki Lynne Sherrill Cloyd, whom he married April 23, 1963, survives.

Also surviving are his daughter, Lynnette Bratton of Kingman; his son, Bruce Cloyd of Rockville; two grandchildren, Chelsea Warner and Seth Warner; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Cloyd.

He was a 1962 graduate of Rockville High School. He enjoyed reading books, fishing, putting things together, and fixing and repairing things.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2026, at West Union Cemetery in Montezuma, with Pastor Gene Walls officiating.
