Joyce E. Paddock, 80, of Rockville, Indiana passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024, in Hutsonwood at Brazil Nursing Facility. She was a retired hairdresser of the Uptown Salon in Rockville, where she worked along side her sister. 

She was born June 8, 1944, in Clinton, Indiana to the late John Lewis Batty and Marjorie Avis Earl Batty Day. 

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Warren Wendell Paddock whom she married November 23, 1973 in Rockville; also surviving, sons, Joseph (Gayle) Podgurski of Rockville, Dewayne (Shelley) Podgurski of Orange Beach, Alabama, Steve Paddock of Waveland and Mark (Jill) Paddock of Rockville; brothers, Ed (Brenda) Batty of Rockville and Guy (Shelly) Gregg of Moab, Utah; 12 grandchildren whom she adored, Jacob Podgurski (Nicole), Kacie Podgurski (Cole Wiley), Codie Collings (Ethan), Ethan Podgurski (Jilian), Amanda Podgurski, Eli Podgurski, Amy Podgurski, Cortney DeLaRosa (Omar), Jessica Sunderman (Riley), Justan Paddock, Kyle Paddock, Ben Paddock (Peyton), and 23 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ronica Paddock, sister, Jonnie Overpeck and grandson, Andrew Warren Paddock.

She and Wendell taught Ballroom and Country dancing for 14 years. She enjoyed antiques, quilting, sewing, crocheting, knitting, reading, and fishing. 

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 28, at Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Wednesday at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville.
