Memories Of RHS:

Nothing super special to relate except that I have always been grateful to have come from a "Smalltown USA." Twice in my life I have lived at crossroads of America. US36 and 41 and now near I-10 and I-65.
My most memorable hours were spent at the Rockville Library. I spend many hours at the Mobile County Public Library now. It was a gift grow up near an Andrew Carnegie Library that was well managed. My love of courthouses started right there in Parke County. I think it is one of the most magnificent ones I have visited. I have actually been up behind the clock and could see all directions of my world.
We have now been in honor ceremonies for three generations of Girl Scouts.
My father went to school in the first old spooky looking building and was so proud that we were able to be in a modern facility..a U shaped one. He had a brick from his school and I have one from my high school and yes, we town kids did walk in deep snow while the country kids rode the bus and laughed at us.
And then you have to mention--the Candy Kitchen.

Patty is up in the top of RHS memories for me. She had a great smile and sharing spirit. Thinking of her families loss at this time. Judith (Judy} McMillin Phillips. Class of 54
