John Anson Milner, 60, of Rockville, Indiana, passed away at his home on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
He was born November 22, 1964, in Lebanon, Indiana, John was the son of John Hubert Milner and Dorothy Mace Milner. He was a 1983 graduate of Rockville High School and continued his education at Vincennes University.
Throughout his life, John was known for his kindness, creativity, and humor. He worked in a variety of fields, including caregiving, security, factory work, printing, and antique dealing.
John had a passion for antiques and a talent for painting and decorating. His home was a reflection of his unique artistic vision. He found joy in browsing flea markets, always on the hunt for treasures, and his special sense of humor brought laughter to everyone he met, especially his beloved mother, whom he loved to tease.
John is survived by his mother, Dorothy Milner of Rockville; his sister, Micci (Cody) Anglin of Ladoga; his brother, Bob (Juanita) Milner of Rockville; and his special friend, Larry Copeland of Brownsburg. He also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews: Gredin (Brandi)Anglin of New Market, Megan (Daniel) Anglin of Ladoga, Porchia (Robert) Ryan of Hutsonville, Illinois, Grace (Eric) Myers of Terre Haute, and Dustin Milner of Farmersburg. John was adored by his four great-nieces, two great-nephews, and numerous cousins.
The family will host a celebration of John’s life at a later date.
