Edward Troy Schilling, age 54, of Centerpoint, Indiana passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 15, 2023. He was born January 9, 1969 in Lafayette, Indiana to John Edward Schilling and Faye Coomer. 
Troy graduated from Rockville High School in 1987. He loved hunting and fishing and being outdoors. His yard and garden were his pride and joy. His brother-in-law, Steve (Amy) Smith was one of his best friends and his hunting buddy. He also enjoyed spending time with his good friend Jeremy Welch. 
He is survived by his wife, Crystal Schilling; mother, Faye Coomer; sons, Daniel (Olivia) Schilling of Noblesville, Indiana, Tristan Schilling of Indianapolis, Indiana, Hunter Schilling of Noblesville, Indiana and Carson Schilling of Carmel, Indiana; step-sons, Charles and Jason Munsell of Texas; brother, Tony (Suzi) Schilling of Rockville, Indiana; sister-in-law, Cindy Stanford of Chesterton, Indiana; granddaughters, Bella and Winter Schilling; grandson, Adrian Earnhart; great grandson, Jaxson Earnhart and nieces and nephews. 
Troy was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Luther and Kathleen Coomer and Lester and Martha Schilling; stillborn son, Cody Schilling and step-sons, Christopher, Steven and Timothy. 
Per Troy’s wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements handled by Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Avenue, Portage, Indiana 46368.
