MECCA-Judith Elaine Wilson, 82, of Mecca, Indiana passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022. She was a retired seamstress for Steel Grip in Kingman. 

She was born April 2, 1940, in Clinton, Indiana to the late Ira “Tim” Alkire and Hallie Benson Alkire. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Frederick Todd on January 11, 1965. On March 5, 1977, in Kingman she married Charles L. Harwood who preceded her in death March 26, 2005. 

On December 15, 2005 in Mecca, she married Warner Ray Wilson, Sr. and he survives. Also surviving, her children, Dennis E. (Cyndi) Todd of Montezuma, Rhonda Gaynor of Rockville, Shelly Goheen of Lyford, Raylene Blankenship of Clinton, Buddy Wilson of Montezuma, Roz Lee of Bridgeton, Laura Zoll of Greencastle, Lori DeLong , of Noblesville, Chad Wilson of Rockville, Deric Wilson of Bridgeton, Troy Harwood of Perrysville and Kelly Taylor of Covington; one sister, Madonna (George) Babyak of Mecca; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by a three sisters, Anna Thomas, Lena Posey and Virginia Doan and one brother, Clarence “Red” Alkire. She was a graduate of Rockville High School. She was a member of the Mecca Christian Church, Mecca A.R.A.B.S. and former member of Order of the Eastern Star, Mecca Ladies Aide and Mecca Town Board. 

Services will be 2:00 pm Friday, July 8, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville, with the Pastor Tim Guoli officiating. Burial will follow in Hixon Cemetery, Mecca. Visitation is from 12 noon until 2:00 pm Friday at Gooch Funeral Home.
