Mr. Dick J. Chezem, 77, Bellmore, passed away in his home on Saturday, August 20th, at 2:30 AM. He was born August 8th, 1939, in Parke County, to Ralph Alexander and Mary Delores (Wallace) Chezem. He married to Donna Kay Gardner on June 13th, 1960, in Sullivan. She preceded him in death on September 26th, 2009.

Dick retired from R. R. Donnelleys where he had been a Pressman and Foreman. He was a 1957 graduate of Union Township High School and a member of the Elks and Eagles Lodges. In his free time he enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by his daughter: Tami (Mark) Snyder, New Market; and his friend and companion: Donna Jeanne Davies, Bellmore; his sisters: Barbara Vandevier, Rockville; Marie (Harold) Curts, Brownsburg; Shirley Moss, Covington; Sue (Don) Schaibly, Rockville; his brother: Byron Franklin (Betty) Chezem, Darlington. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Robin Dulin in 2006; parents; sisters: Mildred McHargue; Jeanette Chezem; Mary Chezem; brothers: George D. and Ralph Junior Chezem.

Family Graveside Services were held Sunday, August 21st, in the Indian Creek Hill Cemetery, New Market.
