Margie was a fun gal to be with.  She was one of our Rox cheerleaders.  She loved representing our school in the sports segment.  To many she seemed quiet and shy.  However when you got to know her she was a very kind loving caring person.  I often went with her after school to pick up things or various reasons.  Her home was filled with sweet innocent young babies whose parents didn't or couldn't keep them.  All of the babies had extreme disabilities.   I remember one particular time I had gone home with her to get something for a basketball game because I was Pep Club president and we had made ponchos.....She had picked several of them up after a game and we needed them for the coming evening's game.  Anyway this adorable little baby with no arms or legs crawled across the floor using her chin to help her crawl.  She crawled over to Marge who picked her up and the little gale cuddled into her arms and kissed Marge several times on the face.   I cried because it was such a tender sweet moment.  Marge talked to her and kissed her and then handed her to me while she ran to get the ponchos.   After the terrible fire in the house Marge was broken hearted and didn't laugh much anymore.  She was so sad.  Marge was such a good person and I was sorry to see she had passed.
