Marge (Marjorie) Hays

John and I came to Parke County in 1949.

John came to work in the Parke State Bank and
retired in 1980.

We spent winters in Cocoa Beach ,Fl and summers in Northwest Ontario until his death in 1993. In 1994 I moved back to Rockville and love every minute of it. Great place to live

We did not graduate from Rockville, but very involved. Judy Snowden dressed John in a clown suit and he passed out invitations for the first Post Prom. this was 1960 and last class in old building .He went in the Bank in outfit and they had State Bank Examiners ! One older examiner gave him a hard time all week and used the line
"A good Banker is respected in the Community , but liked by no one" The other men thought it was good community relations
