Mae Robertson (Frost) - Class Of 1944 VIEW PROFILE


 

Anna Mae Frost, 90, of Strasburg, Ill., and formerly of Rockville, Ind., died at 2:24 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016, in Heartland Christian Village, Neoga, Ill. 
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. CDT Friday, June 3, 2016, in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Strasburg, and also from 1 to 2 p.m. EDT Saturday, June 4, 2016, in Butler Funeral Home, Rockville. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. EDT Saturday, June 4, 2016, in Butler Funeral Home, Rockville. Burial will be in Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville. Memorials may be given to Heartland Christian Village in Neoga, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. 
Mae was born on May 22, 1926, in Rockville, the daughter of Henry and Flossie Stableton Robertson. She graduated from Mecca High School in Mecca, Ind. Mae married Charles W. "Chuck" Frost on June 6, 1946. Mae and Chuck owned and operated the Rockville Flower Shop for over 20 years. After Chuck died on Oct. 22, 1970, Mae went back to school to become an LPN. She then worked at a doctor's office, nursing homes and the Rockville Women's Prison. She was also a local artist, hand painting porcelain china and giving lessons in her home studio. Mae was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Rockville, and the American Legion Auxiliary in Strasburg. 
She is survived by her children, Linda Hart of Strasburg, Judy Radloff (John) of Strasburg, Charlie Beasley (Marvin) of West Bloomfield, Mich., and Charles "Wally" Frost (Kathy) of Strasburg; sister, Mary Louden of Clinton, Ind.; brother, John Robertson of Terre Haute, Ind.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Lana Gossett; son-in-law, Larry Hart; and seven brothers and sisters.
