Earl G Swaim was a co-owner of Swaim and Branson Men's Clothing, Shoes, and Men's Furnishings for many years. In 1953 Swaim and Branson closed. In Nov 1954 Earl was elected Parke County Auditor for a term beginning January 1, 1955 and he was re-elected in 1958 for a term beginning Jan 1, 1959. He later worked for the Indiana State Board of Tax Commissioners. He passed away May 31, 1964.
One of Earl's favorite pastimes was quail hunting. He also played a lot of golf.
