So sorry to hear about John's passing.  John Bill (as we called him in HS) was always a genuinely nice guy.  Can't think of anyone who didn't like him or any reason to not like him.  I believe he must have been a wonderful funeral director with his comforting and caring demeanor.  I had thought about him several times recently and was wondering how he was doing.  I kick myself now for not trying to contact him.  Moral: if you like, respect, or love someone, tell them.  Tomorrow may be too late.  Rest in peace, John, you will be remembered well.

John and I were best of friends in high school. That friendship continued on in work at Mau Funeral Home in Rockville. We both went to mortuary college in Indianapolis together. He was my best man at my marriage to Joyce Fisher. We worked together at Conkle Funeral Home in Indianapolis. John was and will forever be a true friend. I talked to him about a month ago, he hated dragging his oxygen tank around with him all the time. Rest In Peace brother, love you my man.
