David Millspaugh - Class Of 1959 VIEW PROFILE

David L. Millspaugh, 65 of Rockville died at 6:24 pm Wednesday August 11, 2004 in the emergency room of West Central Community Hospital in Clinton.

He was owner of Millspaugh Trucking in Rockville and a school bus driver for Rockville Community Schools.

He was born February 1, 1939 in Black Oak, Indiana to Ellis E. Millspaugh and to Olive Summers Millspaugh.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years Mary Ann Bradfield Millspaugh whom he married on June 17, 1957 in Kingman. Also surviving is his mother of Sandcut, Indiana; one son, John D. Millspaugh and his wife Heidi Millspaugh of Rockville; two daughters, Chris A. Lear and her husband Jeffery A. Lear of Rockville, Lynn Camerer and her husband Norman L. Camerer of Rockville; one brother, Jim Millspaugh of Rockville; two sisters, Janie Cottrell of Sandcut, Indiana and Tana Kilburn of Oneco, Florida; seven grandchildren, Jason Lear, Justin Lear, Eric Lear, Jennifer Camerer, Leslie Camerer, Macy Millspaugh and Madison Millspaugh; 

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Gene Millspaugh.

He had worked for CBS in Terre Haute, was the former owner of Dave’s Log Cabin 500 Platolene Service Station, a Furniture Stripping Business and co-owner of Millspaugh’s Wrecker Service in Rockville. He also previously owned Rockville Trash Removal. He was a member of Parke Lodge # 8 F.& .A.M., Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute, Rockville Elk’s Lodge # 2471. He was a former member of the Rockville-Adams Township Fire Dept. and the Parke County Rescue Squad. He served on the Parke County Alcohol Advisory Board. He was an avid golfer and bowler. 

Services are 2:00 pm Saturday August 14, 2004 in Gooch Funeral Home at 112 Howard St. in Rockville, with the Rev. Brad C. Bumgardner officiating. Burial is in Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville. Visitation is from 4-8 pm on Friday at Gooch Funeral Home and before services on Saturday. A Masonic memorial service will be conducted at 8:00 pm on Friday by Parke Lodge #8.

DAVID WAS MARRIED TO MARY ANN BRADFIELD. DAVID CAME FROM A FAMILY OF SEVERAL CHILDREN. HE AND MARY ANN HAD A FAMILY. ALL THE GIRLS IN HIGH SCHOOL WERE ALWAYS FLIRTING WITH DAVID. HE WAS GOOD LOOKING. I BELIEVE HE AND MARY ANN WERE SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS/
