He was a surgery technician at Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis.
He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana to Alan Adam Lathrop and Pamela Goetze Lathrop.
Survivors include his parents Steven K. and Pamela H. Farner of Rockville; one brother Robert A Lathrop of Chattanooga, Tennessee; one step-sister Michelle A. Farner of Tallahassee, Florida; and grandparents Robert Goetze of Rockville, Faye Farner of Rockville and Jane Appel of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his father Alan Adam Lathrop.
He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockville and was a 1992 graduate of Rockville High School and attended Ball State University.
