Barbara Jo Praul, 60, of Ft. Wayne and formerly of Rockville passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 at her home. She was born on February 14, 1959, in Terre Haute to James and VerDeana (McCarter) Gregg.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Allen Praul; children, Paul Greggory Lee Norman and Courtney Renee Lowery (Barry); grandchildren, Brylee and Waylon Lowery; step-mother, Donna Gregg; siblings, Sandy Pruitt (Tom), Tom Gregg (Amy), Donna Marie Onstott (Tim), and Lori Tracy (Jim); and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Barbara graduated from Rockville High School. She earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from ISU. She worked as a secretary at West Central Indiana Educational Services. She also worked in the office at the Rockville IGA. She was a counselor for seventeen years at the Rockville Women’s Correctional Facility before moving to Ft. Wayne.

In her spare time, Barbara loved to read, sew, and do crafts. She was gifted at the art of crochet and could turn a simple skein of yarn into anything. She was a kind soul and will be truly missed.
