Dorothy Cornthwaite (McMahon)

Dorothy Alois (Cornthwaite) Mc-Mahon, 97, departed this world during the night of October 29, 2018.
Born July 9, 1921 in Rockville, she was the daughter of Homer and Mame Cornthwaite and the sister of
Gwen Harrison, now deceased.
Dorothy grew up on a rural farm, attended a one-room elementary schoolhouse and graduated Rockville
High School in 1938. She enrolled in Purdue Universityand graduated with highest honors in 1943. Dorothy moved east and worked for RCA, and later for Hewlett Packard in New Jersey.
She received her MBA degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University while in her 60s.
Dorothy leaves, to cherish her memory, her loving family: sons, Richard (Barbara) McMahon of Fort
Collins, Colorado and Dr. David (Michelle) McMahon and grandchildren, Paul Columna and Mollie
McMahon of Titusville, Florida; daughter, Julia Heinlein of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; son-in-law,
Al Mosca of Kinnelon, New Jersey; nephew, Dr. Stephen (Jeri) Harrison and family of Santa Barbara,
California.  Also preceding her in death, another beloved child, is Sharyn Mc-Mahon Mosca.
