MONTEZUMA- Annabelle M. Hill, 87, of Montezuma, Indiana died at 5:45 am Thursday, December 16, 2010 at her residence.

She was an executive secretary for the Parke County Draft Board during the 1950's and a homemaker.

She was born November 10, 1923 in Parke County, Indiana to the late Laurence J. Fisher and Jennie Haughee Fisher.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Robert W. Hill whom she married in Rockville November 21, 1942.

Other survivors include, two sons, Robert W. Hill, Jr. and his wife Marilyn of Newburgh, IN, John David Hill and his wife Carole of Greenwood, IN; one daughter, Janis Harding of Greenwood, IN; one sister, Donna Bryant of Bloomingdale; five grandchildren, Donald (Laura) Harding of Franklin, IN, Jennifer (J.D.) Whipple of Cotopaxi,, CO, Dustin Hill of Hollywood, CA, Jason (Trisha) Hill of Orange, CA, and Jeff (Angela) Hill of Plainfield, IL; five great-grandchildren, Logan Hill, Aubrey Whipple, Colin Whipple, Finnley Hill and Presley Hill; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Marie Fisher on June 14, 1999 and a son-in-law, Larry Harding on August 18, 2006.

She was a 1942 graduate of Rockville High School which at that time was the largest graduating class in the school history. She was a member of the Rockville Christian Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class.

She loved to cook, sew and quilt, making 100's of baby quilts and bibs.

Services will be 11:00 am Monday, December 20, in Gooch Funeral Home at 112 W. Howard St. in Rockville, with the Rev. Patrick J. Fahey officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville. Visitation is from 2-6 pm Sunday at Gooch Funeral Home.
