Robert Seward

Robert Warren Seward, 83, passed away Saturday surrounded by his family. He was born November 27, 1934 in Parke County to John and Marjorie Berry Seward. After graduation from Rockville High School, he started his career in construction. He owned and operated Seward Construction and Seward Custom Kitchens for many years. He later worked for Schmidt Cabinet Company, Town & Country Home Center, and retired from Home Depot at the age of 76.

He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family.

On May 30, 1954, he married Glenda Gilderland at the Methodist Church in Rockville. She survives. He is also survived by his daughter Karin (David) Hunt, grandchildren Holly (Ian) Line and Kyle (Victoria) Hunt, and great-grandchildren Warren and Ellie Line. Also surviving are his brothers William, Allen, and sister Joan Gallo. He was preceded in death by his sons Kevin and Kerry.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Wednesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Whitacre officiating. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Rockville. Visitation will be from 11-1 Wednesday.
