ROCKVILLE- Wilma Jean Watkins, 83, of Rockville, Indiana died at 5:23 pm Saturday, October 3, 2015 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was a homemaker. She was born September 27, 1932 in Coloma, Indiana to the late Clem Purcell and Sadie Brown Purcell.

Survivors include one son, Gail (Linda) Watkins of Bellevue , Nebraska; siblings, Marion Purcell of Virginia, Carolyn Brewer of Michigan, Dixie Barios of Crawfordsville, Minnie Bennett of West Virginia, Thelma Anderson of Crawfordsville, Norma Purcell of Kansas, Charlotte Purcell of Montezuma and Paul Purcell of Terre Haute; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was a 1952 graduate of Rockville High School. She was a member of the Mecca Wesleyan Church. 

Memorial services will be Saturday, April 9 at 2:00 pm at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville with Brother Don Perry officiating. Inurnment will follow at Coloma Friends Cemetery. Memorial visitation is Saturday 12:00p.m.-2:00pm.
