Robert Fisher

Robert S. Fisher, 85, of Rockville, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013
at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville, Indiana.
He was born July 8, 1927 in Rockville. He was the son of Lewis Fisher
and Mary Louise Humphreys Fisher. He graduated from Rockville High
School in 1945. He served in the United States Marines from June 1945
to August 1946. He was a retired dairy farmer and had retired from the
Parke Co. Highway Department.
He was a member of Rockville Memorial Presbyterian Church and a
member of Rockville American Legion Post # 48.
He was preceded by his parents and four brothers, Russell Fisher,
Philip Fisher, Stanley Fisher, and Douglas Fisher.
He was survived by his daughter, Chris Stalker and her husband,
Bob Stalker of Rockville, son, Roger Fisher of Rockville, two grandsons,
Jeff Kerr and Tony Wagner and his companion, Sheri Bishop, all of
Rockville, two great grandsons, Jaylan Kerr and Ryan Wagner.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 7, 2013 at Butler Funeral
Home, 218 N. College St, Rockville, with Pastors Wendy and Mark
Olson officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Garden Cemetery in
Rockville with Military Graveside Rites by Parke Co. Veterans
Organizations. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 PM, Thursday, June 6
in the funeral home and Friday prior to funeral service. In lieu of
flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial
Presbyterian Church. Envelopes will be available in the funeral home
during visitation.
