ROCKVILLE- Waneta R. Willoughby, 91, of Rockville passed away at 3:59 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Meadows Manor North in Terre Haute. 

She was a retired tax account for Ralph Harrison and was employed by Indiana Farm Bureau Co-op. She was born January 22, 1929 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Norval W. Dixon, Sr. and Elizabeth Jackson Dixon.  

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Harlem Davies. Her husband of 35 years, William “Bill” Willoughby whom she married February 27, 1965 passed away June 23, 2000. Survivors include one son, Michael A. (Becky) Davies of New Goshen, one granddaughter, Michelle (Ryan) Goodwin of Clinton; two great-grandchildren, Macee and Chace Goodwin of Clinton; one sister-in-law, Patricia G. Dixon of Carmel; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Norval Wayne Dixon, Jr and a grandson Derran Davies.  

She was a 1947 graduate of Rockville High School. She volunteered at the Parke County Community Foundation and was a member of the Women’s Book Club. Services will be 2:00 pm Monday, January 11, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville, with Pastor Jon Overbey officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville. Visitation is from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Monday at Gooch Funeral Home.
