Dorothy Jean Flock, 83, entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Long Beach Memorial Hospital.

Dorothy was born on December 12, 1929, a daughter of the late Raymond and Opal Harrison. She was raised by her grandparents, Virgil and Bernie Richardson. She graduated from Rockville High School in 1947 and married the late Charles W. Flock on April 1, 1948. Dorothy was an active member in the Leisure World Community. She always appreciated a good chat with friends and family. She enjoyed making new friends, as well as maintaining long lasting friendships with loved ones from Indiana, California and Arizona. Playing cards with friends, helping neighbors, and watching her great-grandchildren play were just a few of the activities she loved.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Charles W. Flock in December 2000.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Linda (David) Dykes of Fullerton, CA; son, Chris (Laura) Flock of Denton, TX; four grandchildren, Daniel (Michelle) Dykes, Matthew (Holly) Flock, Cara (Shane) Flores, Melissa Flock; four great-grandchildren, Grace, Morgan, Cole, Vance; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Services will be held at the Loma Vista Memorial Park Mausoleum, 701 E. Bastanchury Road, Fullerton, CA 92835 at 11:00 am on Friday, February 1, 2013.
