Connie had been fighting breast cancer for nearly 5 years. In November of 2008, her Dr's told her that the cancer had spread to her brain and spinal cord, giving her 3 to 6 months to live. She hardly ever complained, trying to go about her remaining days as normal as possible. Connie was a fighter, yet was one of the sweetest people you would ever meet. Connie passed away, peacefully in the afternoon on Friday March 13th, 2009. Connie leaves behind 2 children, Connor and Annmarie, ages 15 and 12 respectively. My Mom passed away at age 70 in April of 2003 from complications after a massive cardiac arrest. I'm glad that my Mom didn't have to watch Connie go thru her illness. My Dad, my other sister Penny and I will miss her immensely. I know that my Mom and Connie are in heaven watching over our family. Rest in peace sweetie! Your big brother, Keith
