Sandra Jane Gooch, 60, of Evansville, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 28,, 2015 at her home.

Sandra was born in Clinton, Indiana on October 17, 1954 to Gerald and Imogene (Cox) Gooch. She received her B.S. degree from DePauw University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with Phi Beta Kappa honors. Sandra was certified and taught English as a second language. She previously worked in the Neonatal Unit at Welborn Hospital as an RN. Sandra was a member of Christian Fellowship Church for many years where she was active in International Ministry, starting the "Play and Learn English" program and had taught Sunday School. She enjoyed cooking, baking and entertaining family and friends. Sandra liked bringing joy to people and serving others. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Sandra is survived by her mother, Imogene (Cox) Gooch of Rockville, IN; sister, Jeri Bartlow (Charles) of Collierville, TN; brother, Joe Gooch (Caterina) of Rockville, IN; nieces and nephews, Mike Bartlow (Rachel), Lori Niemi (Hunter), Elizabeth Harrell (Clay), Jordan Gooch and Jevin Gooch (Cari).

Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Gooch on December 30, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue, Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor David Niednagel officiating. 

Friends may visit from 4:00 pm until service time on Wednesday at Browning Funeral Home. 

Visitation will be held at 10:00 am until 11:00 am Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 am at Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville with the Rev. Don Hatfield officiating.
