Mary Catherine Barnes (Overpeck) (1958)

VIC OWNED A CLOTHING STORE ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE SQUARE IN ROCKVILLE. IT WAS CALL THE CUT PRICE. HE SPECIALIZED IN MOSTLY JEANS, SHOES AND CLOTHING THAT WORKING PEOPLE , ESP. FARMERS WOULD USE. HE LIVED IN A NEAT HOUSE AT THE CORNER OF HIGH STREET AND JEFFERSON.. HE WAS FROM A GREEK FAMILY. HE LIVED WITH HIS MOTHER AND HE HAD A COUPLE OF BROTHERS. VIRGIL, DR DENNIS AND MAYBE GEORGE NICHOLAS. DR DENNIS WAS THE CORONER OF MARION CO. IN INDIANAPOLIS. HE HAD LOTS OF NIECES AND NEPHEWS. EVERY MORNING HE HAD COFFEE AT THE PASTIME , WHICH WAS BY THE CUT PRICE WITH THE COFFEE CROWD.

Jon Bonomo (1974)

The Grumbling Greek as we called Vic.
He was a dear friend. We went on trips together and almost every holiday he would spend with us.
My boys would ask when is Vic gonna get here. I am not sure
why that was so important unless they thought we would eat then. Vic help many secretly.
He is missed by our family
