Barbara Ann Farkas, 81, of Mesa, Arizona and formerly of Rockville, Indiana passed away February 21, 2022. 

She was a retired schoolteacher with many years at Highland (IN) High School. 

She was born October 3, 1940, in Clinton, Indiana to the late Lionel George Clark and Ina May Smith Clark. 

Her husband of 57 years, Robert Farkas whom she married August 23, 1964, passed away January 23, 2022. 

Survivors include her children, Donna Krawchuk of Gilbert, Arizona, Brad (Kim) Farkas of Mesa, Arizona, and Lynn (Dennis) Koch of Gilbert, Arizona; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 

She was a 1958 graduate of Rockville High School and Indiana State University. She was a member of the Rockville Memorial Presbyterian Church and Estabrook Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution. 

Joint memorial services with her husband Robert will be 11:00 am Saturday, November 12, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville, with Pastor Steve Blaydes officiating. Inurnment will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville. Memorial visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Saturday.

Barbara Ann Clark Farkas passed away February 21,2022 in Arizona one month after her husband Bob passedaway. Her parents were Ina Mae and Lionel Clark. They owned and operated Clark's Grocery Store on the west side of the square in Rockville in the forties, fifties and sixties. She graduated from Rockville High School and Indiana State University. She was a school teacher in northern Indiana before moving to Arizona. She was employed by an airline as a secretary. She leaves behind children and grandchildren.
