Jamie was my friend. The thing I remember most about him in school was one day in the hallway. A group of kids were gathered around one boy making fun of him and pushing him. Jamie walked into the middle of it and said, "if you've got a problem with him, you've got a problem with me." That ended it. I'm not sure he even knew the kid but he was an outsider and an underdog. There was a compassionate and just side to Jamie that I'm not sure many knew. Miss you friend. Gone but not forgotten.
