ROCKVILLE- Lois R. McGrannahan, 91, of Rockville, Indiana passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Clinton Gardens. She was a retired registered nurse. 

She was born January 22, 1931, in Rockville, Indiana to the late Carl Wesley Wilson and Sarah Frances McCord Wilson. Her husband of 53 years, Glenn Leo “Mac” McGrannahan whom she married May 17, 1952, passed away June 19, 2005. 

Survivors include her children: Cheri (Rick) Peacock and Mark (Becky) McGrannahan; grandchildren; Eric (Christy) Peacock, Kurt (Andria Franklin) Peacock, Leslie (John) Batty, Brad (Amanda) McGrannahan, Justin (Amber) McGrannahan; great grandchildren: Alexis Peacock ( Zach Uselman), Cole Gordon, Kylen McMullen, Klayton Peacock, Bree McGrannahan, Makayla Cline, Neaveh Franklin, Jenna Batty, Cora Batty, Brynlee McGrannahan, and Gage McGrannahan; great-great granddaughter Elaina Uselman ; sister in law, Freida Kerr McGrannahan. She was preceded in death by a brother Jack( Rose) Wilson. 

She was a 1949 graduate of Rockville High School and a 1952 graduate of St. Anthony’s School of Nursing. She was a Charter Member of Rockville Rainbow Assembly 43 - later serving as Mother Advisor, also member of Gamma Sigma Chapter of Tri-Kappa, Garden Club, Current Literature, and her "Lunch Bunch". She was a 77-year member of the Rockville First United Methodist Church and was the oldest living member. During her nursing career she was employed by DuPont, Dr. Richard Bloomer's office, TB sanatorium, Putnam County Hospital and Director of Nursing at Castle Shannon Nursing Home until Glenn was transferred to Boca Raton, Florida and Longmont, Colorado. She served as a substitute school nurse for Rockville and Southwest Parke Community Schools 

. Services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 31, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville with Rev. Deb Moore-Hardin officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville. Visitation is from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Tuesday at Gooch Funeral Home.
