Phyllis A. Thomas, 75, of Rockville, passed away October 9, 2018, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. Born April 20, 1943 in Rockville she was the daughter of Howard and Marjorie Wirth Britton. She married Mickey J Thomas on June 24, 1961; he died May 16, 2011. 

She graduated from Rockville High School in 1961. Phyllis previously worked at Pizza King in Rockville, the Rockville Housing Authority, Turkey Run Schools and Turkey Run Inn. 

Survivors include 4 children, Mickey Thomas Jr (Mary) of Florida, Jeff Thomas (Dawn) of Montezuma, Melissa Tidwell (David) of Marshall, and Richard Thomas of Rockville; 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. 

Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Fred and Dick Britton.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Barnes and Rice Funeral Home, 111 East High Street, Rockville, Indiana. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. 

Burial will be in Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville.
