ROCKVILLE-Norman Dale Greene, 69, of Rockville, Indiana passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at his son’s residence in Greenwood. 

He was a retired Master Sergeant with the U.S. Marines serving 23 years. 

He was born November 1, 1951 in Clinton, Indiana to the late Alfred “Rex” Greene and Mariola Frazier Greene. 

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Gloria Concepcion Greene whom he married February 7, 1973; also surviving, four children, John (Rachel) Greene of Greenwood, Chris (Elizabeth) Greene of Avon, Danilo Dasalla and Divina Dasalla both of Quezon City, Philippines; one brother, Frank (Sandy) Greene of Waveland; one sister, Carol (Russell) White of Rockville; seven grandchildren. 

He was a 1969 graduate of Rockville High School. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and American Legion Fellenzer post 48 both in Rockville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and ceramics. Being a Marine was his lifelong passion. 

Services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, March 16, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville. Burial with military honors by Parke County veterans will follow in Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-8 pm Monday at Gooch Funeral Home. 

Memorials should friends so desire may be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 217 E. Ohio Street, Rockville Indiana 47872 in his memory.

Tom Barnhart (1969)

RIP Brother.  We served in Vietnam and other areas together yet never saw each other.  Fair winds and followiing seas old friend.
