It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we are notifying you about the recent passing of one of our cherished colleagues, Ted M. Byers, Information and Referral Manager at United Way of Lake County.  Ted passed away on Wednesday, December 7^th after a year-long battle with cancer.  Ted was a vital member of the Lake County community and played a key role in helping individuals in need connect with important local services and was instrumental in developing the Find Help Lake County print and online resources. His hard work, sense of humor and commitment to building a stronger community will be greatly missed.

In celebration of Ted’s life, there will be a public visitation/viewing from 9 - 11 a.m.; memorial service at 11 a.m. and luncheon following on Tuesday, December 13 at First United Methodist Church, 128 N Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Waukegan.
