Joe was a close friend all during junior high, high school, and at ISU.  We had good times and bad, laughed a lot, and married young and within months of each other.  We both worked at Donnelley's in Crawfordsville to make enough to start school at ISU, and worked all the way through but still found time to enjoy each other's company, along with our other Rockville buddies and wives.  Joe and I drifted apart after college, mainly due to distance and different careers.  I am saddened to learn of his passing.  Jim Miller
