ROCKVILLE- Meriam "Cathy" Curtis, 67, of Rockville, Indiana died 2:30 am Monday, July 25, 2011 at Rockville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She had been employed by Child Adult Resource Services in Rockville, was a Emergency Medical Technician for Parke County EMS, R.R. Donnelley and Sons in Crawfordsville and worked the front gate at Turkey Run State Park.
She was born January 19, 1944 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Cyril D. Carr and Rena Jolley Carr Presnell.
She is survived by one son, Larry Conder and his wife Cindy of Genoa City, WI, four daughters, Cindy Leonard and her husband Dave of Crawfordsville, Lisa (Ron Gray) Conder, Tammi Ramey and Marcia Ann Conder all of Rockville; two sisters, Ellen D. Magill of Rockville and Terry Lynn Simpson of Joplin, MO; eleven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her step-father, Lowell Presnell.
She was a 1962 graduate of Rockville High School. She was a member of the Marshall Federated Church. She loved to paint at the Covered Bridge Art Gallery in Rockville.
Services will be 10:00 am Thursday, July 28, in Gooch Funeral Home at 112 W. Howard St. in Rockville with the Revs. Don Perry and Dale Payne officiating. Burial will follow services in Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville. Visitation is from 4-8 pm on Wednesday at Gooch Funeral Home.
