Janet L. Robbins, 69, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015, at her home in Mechanicsburg surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Clinton, Indiana on August 7, 1945, a daughter of the late Glen and Roberta A. (Asbury) Doan.

Janet was a 1963 graduate of Rockville High School and attended St. Mary of-the-Woods College in Indiana.

On July 5, 1964, she was married to James Lee “Jim” Robbins in Rockville, Indiana; he survives.

Janet had worked in the advertising department at the Frankfort Times for nearly 30 years before her retirement in 2011.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and loved the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, doing word search puzzles and she was an avid reader. In addition, she enjoyed collecting frog figurines.

Visitation was held at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from noon to 2:00 p.m.
Funeral Services were planned for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home in Lebanon.
