Shoemaker, Monte and I all grew up within a block of one another. Many fun days spent together as kids! Monte May you be in piece!

The thing I most remember about Monte is his distinctive voice.  You could not hear his low, sonorous voice and think “I wonder who that is...” You knew right away.

Monte was always generous of spirit and ready to help out and solve a problem.  (A characteristic I believe he inherited from his father.)   As we traveled around the area in ‘The Malibus’, we could always count on Monte to pull more than his share of the weight, and be happy about it.

He was the epitome of a ‘Team Player’ both on the athletic field and as a band member.

I know he will be missed by all who knew him.

God speed my friend.
