M.R. "Mouse" Berry

M.R. came to see me a few years ago and he really impressed me with his love for his grandchildren. He wanted to run by a Harley store while he was here and I thought he would be checking out the new bikes. But no, he went straight to their apparel shop looking for things for his grandkids.

M.R. was a great fullback in high school football at Rockville. He was short, fast, and strong. I was a defensive safety in practice and I prayed that he would not make it through our defensive line because there was no way to tackle him when he got up to speed!  Godspeed my 'ol buddy! Will see you on the other side my friend!
