Janet Frae Michael Flock passed away peacefully September 9th surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, John A. Flock; parents Clarence and Ruth Michael; brothers George and William Michael and sister Mary Lois Michael Kelch. Janet is survived by husband, Ron Paddock who she married on February 3, 2020. She is also survived by daughter Kym Flock Mennen, son Kevin Flock, step daughter Kelly Seward, step son Dean Paddock, grandsons Leighton Mennen, Jerrick Mennen and John T. Flock, a brother Frank Michael, sister Ann Michael McCullough and her faithful companion Abby, her cat. She had a loving relationship with Andy Willhite and his wife Lianna and daughter Whitney Willhite Cooper. She loved Andy as a son.

Janet was born June 22, 1946 at Clinton, Indiana. Her three grandsons were her pride and joy. She loved going to her grandsons sports game and cheering them on. Janet had such a vibrant personality the room would light up when she entered. You could always tell where she lived as the yard was full of flowers. She was a rock to Kym and Kevin during her life. She lived most of her life in Indiana. Janet sold real estate from 1987 to 2011. Ron and Janet decided to move permanently to The Villages in 2019 to be closer to her sisters, Mary and Ann. She enjoyed three years of Village life.

Her celebration of Life will be October 2, 2022 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Walt’s Pub. The address is 1050 Kalberer Road, West Lafayette, Indiana 47906. Esther Martin (Lints) (1964)

Thanks to Janet for the memories of growing up with her.  We were Janet Frae and Esther Faye when we were in grade school.  I remember going home with her one time and playing out in her front yard.  She and I practiced spitting through our front teeth while outside that night.

I am sorry we have lost her as a friend and classmate.

Jim Bratcher (1964)

So  sorry  to hear about Janet, such a great and  wonderfull person and  classmate, I  will miss her tremendously  and I offer my sincere  condolences  to her fmily and  all her  friends , may God help  all  those people  who knew her  a beautiful  and kind   and one of  the best  cheer leaders  for  sure,  again, so  sorry.  Sincerely James  Bratcher, class of  1964.
