Robert “Larry” Martin, age 68 of Ogden Dunes, IN passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014. He was born on December 26, 1945 in Norfolk, Virginia to Manford Gerald and Mary (Cicharz) Martin. He was married to Carol Hos in Terre Haute, IN on June 6, 1970. He is survived by his wife Carol Martin of Ogden Dunes; his sons, Craig (wife, Sandra) Martin and Chad (wife, Laurie) Martin; brother, Mike (wife, Charlotte) Martin; sister, Joanna (husband, Bill) Woodward and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Larry was a retired high school principal from Madison-Grant High School in Grant County, Indiana. He had his Master’s Degree in Education as well as an Ed S Degree. He was a member of the Indiana Association of School Principals, of which he was named Principal of the Year. Larry enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially working in his yard, traveling and following his favorite sports teams. Cremation will take place and there will be no services at this time.
