Susan “Susie” Millikan, 68, of Rockville, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022, at her residence. Born May 7, 1954, in Greencastle, Indiana, she was the daughter of Robert Jeffries and Jane Clark Jeffries. Her husband of 24 years, Terry Millikan, preceded her in death on March 25, 2017.

Susie was a 1972 graduate of Rockville High School. She worked for over 15 years at J&W Building Supply in Rockville and retired from the Parke County Courthouse where she worked in the Planning and Zoning Office, and the Plat Office. She was a member of the Rockville Christian Church and attended the Rush Creek Friends Church. She was also a member of the AMVETS Post #61 Auxiliary in Rockville.

Susie loved spending time with her family and friends, and shopping with her granddaughter, Audra. She liked all sports, but especially watching her grandchildren’s games. Susie enjoyed visiting casinos and cherished her memories of spending time with her dad watching and betting on horse races.

She is survived by her daughter, Tara Pickett (Andrew) of Attica; 2 grandchildren, Audra, and Karsen Pickett of Attica; 2 sisters, Marianna Martin of Sun Rise, Florida, and Dena Foxworthy of Rockville; and her special friend, Laura Fischer of Rockville. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Susie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Terry; and her dog, Toby.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Barnes and Rice Funeral Home, 111 E High Street, Rockville, Indiana. Cremation has been chosen with inurnment at Roachdale Cemetery.

Susie’s wishes were for memorial contributions to be made for the funding of her grandchildren’s softball and baseball travel teams. Contributions may be sent in care of Tara Pickett, 6987 E Independence Road, Attica, IN. 47918
