ROCKVILLE- Patte Lewis, 64, of Rockville, Indiana died at 10:38 am Friday, January 2, 2015 in her residence.

She was a retired medical secretary for the Indiana Department of Corrections in Rockville with 30 years of service.

She was born April 8, 1950 in Clinton, Indiana to the late Barret Dale Porter and Madonna Dodd Porter.

Her husband of 40 years, Charles "Duck" Lewis whom she married October 22, 1971 in Rockville died December 17, 2011.

Survivors include, one daughter, Stephanie (Eric James) White of Rockville; one son-in-law, Jeff Kerr of Rockville; one sister-in-law, Becky Porter of Rockville; three grandchildren, Jaylan Kerr, Jacob and Emma White; two nephews, Dane Porter of Carmel, Indiana and Dirk Porter of Danville, Illinois;

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tricia Dayle Kerr on April 15, 2008 and a brother, Barret Dodd Porter on September 8, 2014.

She was a 1968 graduate of Rockville High School. She was a member of the Rockville Christian Church. She enjoyed crafts.

Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 7, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville, with Pastor Gene Walls officiating. Burial will follow in Beacon Hill Cemetery south of Rockville. Visitation is from 12 noon until 2:00 pm Wednesday at Gooch Funeral Home.
