Judith McFaddin - Class Of 1955

 

Judy McFaddin, who died on Jan 6, 2012 and wanted her ashes in Memory Garden with her family.  Her mother was Virginia Alden McFaddin.    Virginia was a sister to John Alden Sr, class of 32.

Mrs. Judith Virginia McFaddin Enck, 75, of Dalton,GA  passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at her home surrounded by family and friends.
Judith was born in Rockville, Ind., on Jan. 1, 1937, and spent a considerable amount of her childhood in Europe. She attended Tudor Hall in Indianapolis and Duke University. Mrs. Enck was a devoted mother and grandmother and was passionate in her commitment to helping others, particularly with problems of addiction.

She and her sister Alice attended Rockville elementary schools until they joined their widowed father in Holland in 1947. (She would have been RHS Class of 1955.) Her father Hugh was the twin brother of Howard McFaddin, who practiced law in Rockville for about 50 years, and her mother was Virginia Alden, sister of John Alden, and aunt of Betsy, John, and Bob Alden.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law-- Doug and Carol Enck of Dalton, GA and Phil and Emily Enck of Indianapolis-- and four grandchildren.

  A Memorial Service will be held at the Rockville Presbyterian Church on April 28 at 2 pm, with burial in Memory Garden cemetery.
