Gwendolyn Marie Guerrettaz, 53 of Brazil, passed away January 8, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. She was born in Vigo County, the daughter of Jerry Laswell and Veronica Sparks Laswell. She was raised in Rockville and graduated from Rockville High School, Class of 1982. Following high school, she obtained an Associate Degree in Accounting, from North Harris County College in Houston, Texas. She was last working as a manager for Pilot Thomas Logistics in North Dakota, Texas, andOklahoma. 
Gwen was a very active mom to her four children, helping with anything from T-Ball, scouts and 4-H. She was the treasurer for the PTO at Meridian Elementary School and was always there for her children’s many activities. Her professional endeavors included Field Supervisor for the Census Bureau, and she was also employed at the Lt. Governor’s Office of Indiana and more.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Jerry Lee Laswell.
Survivors include her children, Sarina Gounaris and husband George of Noblesville, Michael Allen Guerrettaz, II and Cassandra Kruse of Indianapolis, Latisha Guerrettaz of Terre Haute, and Briana Guerrettaz of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Chandler Alanis, Kailey Alanis, Darby Jane Guerrettaz, Brody Michael Guerrettaz, Julian Guerrettaz, and Benjamin Jerry Lee Guerrettaz; her mother, Vickie Hofmann of Terre Haute, and her sister, Brenda Laswell of Terre Haute, and a large extended family and a host of friends.
Services will be held Friday at 11:00am at Lawson-Miller Chapel with Pastor Paul Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 and again Friday prior to the service. Post a note of condolence at www.lawson-millerchapel.com
